The relationship between the EU and Switzerland for Asset Managers
Clerkin Lynch will be staging a webinar in conjunction with AIMA with Fedor Poskriakov and Francois Rayoux of Lenz and Staehelin on the interaction of financial services and asset management in particular between Switzerland and the EU on January 20th 2022.
The jurisdictions have enjoyed a close synergistic relationship over many years, with Switzerland being one of the largest distribution markets for EU domiciled funds and Swiss asset managers also being amongst the largest users of these vehicles.
However relatively recent regulatory developments including the new Financial Services Law in Switzerland as well as elements of MiFID 2 in the EU may be impacting on this and the webinar will explore this changing landscape as well as some specific issues that have arisen.
Full details to be released shortly but please contact us if you would like to be placed on the registration list.
